I finished these up a few days ago and finally had time to get a picture out in the sunlight today.

Completely hand made and dyed by me from 9 oz. veg tanned leather.

3rd times a charm.

These are my second and third attempt, first one went in the trash, wasn't happy enough with 2nd, finally happy with the 3rd.

Looks pretty dern good. Noticed your location and have to mention I'm in Thornton once or twice a year for work (GeoEye). By far my favorite place to travel.

You did a great job brother! I wouldn't of thought it was only your 2nd and 3rd attempt!

Nice Mause! That is a NICE sheath.

You might want to do a second row of stitches to be safe.

I like though!

Very nice Mauz, really dig the overall simplicity of your sheaths ...As CB said, a second row of stitching wouldn’t hurt either.

I cant get over the level of perfection in shape and stitching in your sheaths Mauser, its like they where poured on and sculpted. lol great work

Great work, very clean and simple.
Fits very well with a no BS user knife like the BK2

Thanks for all the nice comments, glad the experts approve. :)

While I am new to leather work, I didn't mean this was my first attempt at making a sheath. I have made a handful of decent sheaths in the last few months but this was my first attempt at a BK2 sheath. The first try didn't even fit right, the second fit good but was ugly. Got it the 3rd try.

I have made a Tram machete dangler and a BK9 sheath, so this is my 3rd big sheath. Most my work has been the BK13, 14 and 17.

Here are a few pictures of previous sheaths.

Thank you my friend. :)

I would really like them to be but I am just so slow at this. The seem to be taking me 2 - 3 weeks each and im starting to build up a list even though I didn't want to do that.

I can give you first shot at the next 9 sheath I make if you want, no pressure. If you change your mind by then I can always put it on the exchange. It will be mid January at the earliest.

Wow, when we talked about you getting started on leather work I never would have thought such beautiful pieces would be the outcome. I'm almost speechless.
