A co-worker of mine saw my 2 and commented he liked it a lot. But as he looked at it more, he said he'd want something like it but it'd have to be longer and thinner. Instead of trying to "sell him" on the 2 (like any one who didn't want to be one-upped by their co-workers would do).....

I showed him a few pics of "the King" and he went online and ordered one.

This whole situation concluded in less 10 minutes.

As a new BH (with a love of all things Becker) I knew I had done the family proud even if I did feel a little like I had betrayed the 2ers....:D

Hey if at the end of the day you got someone new to try out a Becker I'd say that's a good days work. I wouldn't worry anyhow, he may be starting with a King but I wouldn't be surprised if he convinces himself he also needs 2 in the near future...and a 7...and a 14...and a 16...and a 5...
 
It is contagious, I started with the 16 and thought that would be enough. Now I have a trio of the 16, 11 and the 9. That should be all I need now!:rolleyes:

Bwaaahaaaaaaaaa, pfffft,,, That`s what I said too, but I think every Beckerhead has thought that at one point, long ago.....
You kniow you need a 5, and a 4, and a.-..........

Ain't that the truth. I don't really see what use I personally would have for a BK7, but I keep thinking I should get one to see what the fuss is about because I must be missing something. Same for the 4 and 5.
