The Kabar Micarta will fit your stock sheath that came with the blade.

If you buy CRK Micarta you might need to add there custom sheath with the purchase.

I've never used CRK Slabs but the Kabar slabs are excellent....

I responded in the other post you made about the CRKS and Kabar micarta. I have the Kabar micarta, but I don't own any CRKS. I actually tend to use the grivory on mine, I honestly like it better than the micarta for a working blade.

IMO there is still too little options available, how about making your own, I would love to make orange scales on my BK2 and there are None options readily available, and to be honest....I am not willing to pay 40 plus bucks for the ka bar ones...I mean they are nice but for that money I much rather purchase for 10 a micarta blank and attempt to make my own. to be honest all this knife making is really new to me but so far it has given me more pleasure than to just purchase the pre fabricated ones.

that is just my opinion. Now, that being said.... regarding the ka bar and the other ones....I think the ka bar look better than the other ones

I got the package from CRKS, the BK2, micarta slabs, and the sheath.
The scales are flat, not contoured, and fit their sheath very well. The scales do not fit the original sheath very well, loose fit.
I do not own the orginal scales, nor any similar Becker knife to do a comparison with.
Mine fit well, and they are very nice. A bit rough around the edges, compared to ESEE.
But, overall, I like the fit and finish, feel of the CRKS BK2 package.

Got the Ka-Bar for my 2 and they rock. Getting more when my prefered vendor gets a new shipment.

Can't speak for the BK-2 since I don't own one, but Ka-Bar's micarta scales are good. I have a set on my Necker, and they really dress up the looks of the thing. Quality and F/F are great. Don't know anything about the CRKS scales, but they're probably good too. I'd get the Ka-Bars so I wouldn't have to spend extra on another sheath, but that's just me.

If it were me, I'd just order a slab of micarta and make my own. You've got the grivory scales for a template.

They charge you $40+ after shipping for a set of scales. You can get a 1.5"x10" slab that's 3/8" thick from one of my supply catalogs starting at $5 for black paper micarta. Linen and canvas are $4-$5 more.

You already have the bolts and probably have sandpaper, etc. A little elbow grease is free.

Like Harley lots of them out and they all look the same till you tweak them..

Having the Ka-Bar scales on my BK-2, I'd recommend the Ka-Bar micarta scales.

Well I've been thinking about putting micarta on my Beckers and just checked out both. They look to be the same price for each. Big difference to me is the CRKs are slabs (meaning flat and non-ergonomic) and the Kabar are shaped and contoured just like the stock grivory. So the real question for me, and probably you too, is how important is ergonomics? Becker has the best handles I have ever felt, so I would, and probably will, get the Kabar scales.
