BK2 Mod (first time)

I have fallen in love with the Micarta on my BK9, but didn't have the funds to get a pair for my BK2, so I decided to do the next best thing. Saw a tutorial a while back about how to "Stipple" a polymer grip for pistols, and figured I would try it on my spare Grivory. I have to say that so far I'm in love. I did a small chopping and battoning test to see how I would initially like it. Here's my "handy" work;

I should be getting a BK16 FFG in the mail soon, and I think I might torture the black scales for fun. Thanks for looking!
 
Is it ruff on the hand? It seems like after a day of heavy chopping your hand would be raw...

Well that's true I've never seen you post any major mods or anything that might make your objective statement seem stilted-HEY WAIT A MINUTE!

I prefer the term "customizing" :D. "Mods" means modifications, right? and I dont think my "mods" really improve the overall performance, they just put them into a realm of their own being one of a kind items.
 
They are definitely in a realm of their own being ;) You actually do really nice, clean work Cam so you are probably the perfect person to chime in and encourage this new 'customizer'.

I meant it as a compliment, so please do! I am very impressed by your work that I have seen, and considering your age? You could be/are a mod-prodigy in the making.
