Bk2 nickname

the BK2 is nick named the train wrecker right, does anybody know how that got started? :confused:

is a buick like a train?

the BK2 is the only thing you need to field strip a buick according to the old literature :)

Um... So now I'm confused. As none of the responses intimated your assumption as a potential answer, it sounds to me like you already knew the very obvious reason and answer. So why bother asking?

According to amazingdrew, if you go to http://www.wildernessoutfittersarchery.com/CatKnives.html, under the description of the BK-2 is the quote:
This Knife should be called the Becker Train Wrecker- Indistructable - Dave Canterbury

So, if silentjohn made the assumption that the BK-2 is indestructible as per Dave Canterbury, it can stop a train in its tracks. Then again, I could be wrong. :)

You didn't bother me none NoisyJohn. I've read a few of your posts and didn't really expect much. Just wanted to see how thick that skin was. :D

Oh, and conrats on the new blade. I should have mine in a couple of weeks.
 
I wish I rembered the guy who made the vid.but I do rember him saying this thing could derail a train then called it the becker train wrecker and you could baton a buick in half.
if I rember right.

i accidentally dropped my BK2 the other day and it hurt the ground

unfortunately, chuck norris was in the way when it bounced, and it chipped his tooth...

Yup that's Dave Canterbury's nickname for it. Great guy, a veteran and seriously skilled dude. check him out on youtube and now on facebook. Ton's of primitive skills, trapping and bowhunting etc. wildernessoutfitters.com is his site as well.

He speaks highly of the bk-2, check his site out Ethan it will be up your alley.
