Folks,

I have been lurking for sometime, just signed up and I want to purchase several Beckers for bug out and camp use - I went to Amazon, saw the fantastic price for a BK2 at 60 dollars, but the picture of the knife appears to be a first gen, rounded pommel BK2 not the 2nd gen with the extended glass breaker...could anyone confirm? How can I make sure I get a 2nd gen?

Been enjoying reading the posts, thanks for the information! I am sold on the utilitY and robust nature of these Beckers and I have a feeling a 7 and 9 are in my future!

If it's sold from amazon,its the second. I bought mine from there. If you click the other pics you can see the pommel and it says second generation with improved sheath.
 
Thanks...I saw the customer reviews, but the main pic used by Azon seemed definitely the first gen, but I appreciate the confirmation!

There's a couple of sellers on ebay who'll put up a picture of the exact knife you're getting and it'll be that price or better.
 
I just received mine from Amazon this week and it has the extended pommel.
Here is the pic of how it looked when it arrived and then with the new scales from Tommythewho.
