well i just purchased my first becker from amazon. a bk2 for 57 bucks. not a bad deal in my mind. really excited for it to come. i have an esee-5, and i cant wait to compare the two.

Sweet deal, now you know why the BK2 is my favorite knife of all time. Inexpensive, tough as nails, and one fine looking knife. Congrats, bro, you might want to hit the exchange on the ESEE5, when the BK2 gets there
Both knives are great and will work for you, but all I will say, is check the reciepts. You tell me which one you like more.

Ha! I got my -2 just before Xmas and feel the same way. It took me three days to realize I needed a -9. I am hoping it'll be here tomorrow!

I know I'll need me a 9 sooner or later, it was a toss up between those two knives but the BK2 won out this time with the slightly lower price tag and the .25'' stock . I REALLY want some micarta slabs for my 2 though so the 9 will have to wait for a while
