Bk2 patina and sheath fix

So, I been workin on my sheath and knife all weekend and this is how it came out

That came out really good. Never understood why kabar used such flimsy nylon.

Yea, boot leather is much better.
My wife and I used mustard and tried Tabasco once,
But had ta buff it out with steel wool and
This is the last try with mustard.

Very cool patina! Did you just use painters tape to tape it off? I've been planning something similar for my BK3.

The patina is awesome, how do you made it?

I tape the handle when I srtipped
The blade, did the lines with mustard , let it set for 20 mins on each side.
