Honestly, guys, what do you think? I'm not sure about it yet. (I think there needs to be a sticky with photos of patina designs)

Very easy to do. (got it from Gavkoo) First I removed the scales. I mixed about 3 tablespoons of mustard and a teaspon of apple cider vinegar to thin it just a little (gavkoo used white). I painted on the design with a Q-tip, making sure all of the design was applied nice and thick. I let it sit for 1 hour. I washed it off with warm water, dried it and did it to the other side. After the other side was done I took a paper towel (a few actually) and folded it in half. I poured apple cider vinegar all over the paper towel then wrapped the BK2 in it (the patina was only on the design portion up until this point) This ensures the whole knife is covered and protected. I only left it in there for about 10-15 minutes. The longer you leave it in there, the darker it will get and I didnt want it to take away from the first design. The paper towel leaves tiny little dots (from the dimples in the paper towel) that look pretty cool. I rinsed it off and dried it again, then put a coat of mineral oil on it and let it sit overnight. I wiped it down this morning and LIGHTLY sanded any dark coloring I didnt want on there with 240 grit (higher would probably work better but it was all I had.) I practiced on my Mora first--I know its not a Becker but heres how it turned out.

I like the design Outdoors..very unique..like some art I have seen before.. Mine was done with red vinegar and brown mustard plus a skullcandy decal/blue painters tape

That looks fantastic! I agree about hosting a patina pattern forum.... Ive had some good results with using tabasco to burn a darker patina atop a lighter mustard patina. Will post pics when able....
