BK2 Screw Mod Test

So I've had this BK2 a little while. I stripped the blade and put some stainless steel screws in the handle. The knife seems fine and I've done the standard stuff with it, but I decided I really wanted to test the little Taiwan screws to see if they were as tough as the rest of the knife. So I went to the tracks, which is little spur they run coal cars down:

I put the knife down in such a way that two of the screws would get tested. The third screw was my control screw.

I hid in the woods to wait for the train. It turns out there's, like, one train a week down this spur. I got hungry and made some chili.

Train came. Gawdawful racket.

Well, looks like all it did was turn the thing ninety degrees.

No damage at all. I can recommend this mod.

I was legitimately concerned there for a minute!

Ok, ya got me. Good shot, well placed.

I have read that the BK-2 is made from pieces of Excaliber, I'm a believer.*

Fantastic thread. And 100% believable.

Good thread, but I'm really surprised that people weren't expecting this.

I mean, isn't this the knife that Dave Canterbury calls the "Becker Train Wrecker"?

The man has photographic proof, so this is clearly legit.
