I've had my BK2 for just over a year now and am just as impressed with it today as I was when I first got it. No mods to the knife, have kept it as it came. Even the sheath until just recently was stock with just a minor modification I'd done to the nylon webbing to have it ride higher on my belt. In my never-ending quest to perfect my gear I've now gone with the TekLok and like it much better than with the (too-large) nylon loop it comes standard with. I ordered the new version of the Large TekLok from Amazon. It arrived in just a few days and installed easily using the base/mount that the nylon webbing had been riveted to.
All in all I find the kydex sheath for the BK2 to be the very best sheath I've ever seen a stock knife arrive with. In fact, at least in my limited experience, even high quality, well built, well designed knives far too often seem to come with sheaths that are not all that impressive. However in the BK2 I really like the very positive locked-in feel it gives when the BK2 is in it's sheath. No worries of that thing popping out when climbing, jumping, etc. Whatever your activity, (even walking on your hands, lol) the BK2 will be secure and right where you expect it to be.
This is my first attempt at attaching photos, so hoping this works...
