Bk2 shipped and on its way!

Well, after months of questioning my desires and weighing pros and cons....and convincing the wife, I finally ordered a BK2 instead of the BK10. I'll probably end up getting the 10 in a few months but for now I want to see what made this knife a legend for myself.

I ordered it with the standard sheath, now that it doesn't dull the knife, and a large teklok so that it doesn't have the dangling problem. Super excited about the new addition to the collection!
 
Congrats! I remember the first time I picked up my BK2. You feel powerful. Quick, find me something to chop up.
 
My first as well - started the addiction for sure. I can almost guarantee it will not the your only Becker - they are like Lay's potato chips to me. Congrats - enjoy the blade, you will not be disappointed.

Its not my first becker, having the bk11, but it will be my first high quality, large fixed blade. Can't wait for it to get here.
 
Congrats ap14. Holding a 9 is a great feeling but the first time you put a 2 in hand it can make you feel like you can tackle anything. The 2 was also my first Becker as some above have indicated it was for them. It was the first of what is now a large and getting larger collection of Becker knives. Each is special in it's own way. Most of them have a unique feel compared to the others with the exception of the tweeners which kind of all feel the same if you close your eyes. The tweeners are great knives and very high value to cost. Of all the Becker offerings the 2 is not the one I use the most, but to me, it still provides a contact high when I pick it up. Again, congrats on a great choice.
