Ok guys... I'm thinking of BK2 for my next knife. Only problem is I haven't seen one in person and wondering on the size. Can someone post one next to a BK11 or 14? Those I have. Thanks in advance!

I've held one for the first time this last weekend, though I don't have any pics or insightful information to guide you in size.. I will say when I held it, it was like WOW this sucker is thick!!

Didn't want to start scaring anyone in the show I kept my posture and didn't swing it around, the handle is beefier then the 7 or 9 for obvious reasons..

Its a powerhouse and can't wait to get mine !! I'm sure someone will post pics by then if not I'll be sure to fire them off for ya.. :D

Yes it does! Thanks a bunch. For some reason the 2 looks so much bigger when I see picks of it alone or with knives I don't have. Next to the 11 puts it into perspective. Thanks again.

Ignore the SAK (must be an optical illusion) but here ya go...

It's a great size (IMO) - super useful and can deal with small jobs as well as big. You won't regret buying one.

Don't want to start a new post for a such a little question, but I've notice two different sheaths for the BK2. One looks to be an ambidex one and the other form fittied. Whats the deal with those?

first gen, and second gen sheaths, as well as there are first and second gen versions of the BK02s as well.

first gen, the sheaths are kydex or formed plastic, and not really ambidextrous/etc. the knives dont' have pommels strikers, and have solid tangs.

second gen, the sheaths are more modular, have screws such that you can make them ambidextrous, or attach a FastTex type clip to them. the knives have pommel strikers, and a (s)lightly skeltonized tang, resulting in a bit of weight loss overall, but more forward balanced for light chopping.
