BK2 update!!!

Stripped her down and SS hardware added! Now to find a kydex sheath design I want and some different scales.....

Hope to put her to use soon as well!

I can't recommend the 710 custom sheaths enough, I promise you that you can't go wrong with him!!

I love the stripped look and am also interested in the stainless hardware. I've been thinking of getting those. I can't afford one of the designer sheaths though, so a spec ops is the way I went....for now.

Where did you get the hardware, if I may ask?

Local ace hardware was the only place that carried the 10/32 SS hex nuts----- the 10/32 SS Allen bolts were at ace, Home Depot, and lowes.

Azwelke did a great job on my bk14 kydex so I will see what Al can do. The biggest thing is I need to figure out what design I want----- I love tek loks to mount the kydex sheaths but the tek loks can only mount so high on the kydex sheaths----- making the big handle of the bk2 sit way too high above my belt line......

Congrats! It's starting to look like it's yours.
Spec Ops sheaths are pretty awesome. I just got one for a Gingrich RD6 that I've had for a while. It came with a kydex sheath but it wasn't up to par with the knife.

You should get a kydex sheath with a removable kydex backing for belt carry ! So that the backing could be removed to mount on molle with molle-loks.

Good thinking summit! Hadn't even thought of that! That way I have the option to belt carry but to also remove belt carry and mount to a pack with molle loks! Might be the direction I need to go
