I'm working on my beckerhead membership and I figured this would be a good post to get some feedback on these three knives. I personally own the bk2 and love it, but I would like to hear from those of you who own the bk10 and/or the rsk mk2 perseverance.
If you have pics please share!

The bk2 is heavier and thicker, bulletproof. The bk10, from the little work and use I put it through since I got it yesterday, is a thinner lighter bushcrafter. The thumb ramp gives good control on smaller workings near the handles, but hinders tip control since you can't put you index finger down the spine. The bk2 has great tip control, even the shape of the blade offers better control than its nearest competitor the rc-5. Its just too thick to be a good slicer. It will slice but just not as well as thinner stuff. They both do different things really well and make a great team.

In my opinion if I had to choose only one to go into the woods with, id pick the 2 for it heavier lifting capabilities and the tip control. But if I can pair up, then the 10 and the 9 would make one hell of a bushcraft/survival pair.

I love all three knives. BK10 is a better slicer but BK2 is a workhorse. MK2 I haven't used enough but I'm a big fan of drop point blades. If only they made a .188 drop point blade (which is basically the MK2) I paid too much for the MK2 so I'm too scared to use it. Especially while I have my BK2s and BK10s that will work. I guess thats what the tweeners are for. At any rate just get all 3. :)

I've been looking for a picture comparing the three for the longest time.... FINALLY!
If you had to choose one for survival in the woods, which one would you pick?

I'd say the bk10 but I'm just partial to the BK10. Its lighter easier to transport. But can't go wrong with a BK2. I love both. I just like how the BK10 can slice really well.

I've been agonizing over which Becker I should get recently. I want something to do a little bushcrafting, but mainly be a good chopper. I originally thought maybe something like the BK7 would be good, because it is a little longer and so it might make it a little easier to chop with.
I guess in a survival situation you just can't argue with the sheer thickness of the BK2 though.

That's the way I look at it. Less chance of breaking the tip, etc. The BK2 is a beast of a knife.
