Well, I have had the 2 for about 2 months now. I started by working on a convex for it using the mousepad/sandpaper method. It's getting there. It's sharp, but I'm not totally satisfied with it yet.

Last week, I broke out the soldering iron for some stipling. I didn't want to do the entire grip, as it would be uncomfortable in the had for extended use. So, I did the front edge of the grivory, where my thumb would go, to keep it in place.

Then last night, while going through some gear, I found this old milsurp pouch. I think it was first aid. Anyways, I used a bit of paracord to attach it to the stock becker sheath. It will easily hold an altoids can with some extras. I have a plastic box in it currently for demonstrations sake. Should be a great way to carry my psk around in a modular component.

Then, using the paracord I had left, I made a lanyard with a cobra fob on it.

I've enjoyed my time here so far and all of the knowledge I've picked up. Thanks!

It has been a half hearted effort. I've probably put 20 mins into it total. I'm using wet/dry paper with wd40. starting with 400, moving to 800, then 1000 and finishing with 1500. I need to get a strop to really finish it off.

Yeesh...Do it quickly with 80 grit and then slowly work your way down (120, 180 etc.) ...your gonna be there for a long time otherwise, epecially if your doing a proper saber convex not just a convex edge...At least thats my way.

If you are just convexing the edge, I have posted up a method before that works very quickly. After about 20 minutes you would be done, or pretty close to it depending on how well you managed it. Now keep in mind it is only to remove the shoulder, and not to convex the entire primary grind, and you will still need to work it up to sharp like you normally would afterwards. All in all, it took me about 15 minutes or so to get it done on my last knife.

It may not be your cup of tea, but I find it works pretty easily and cheaply. Saves a lot of time doing the tedious back and forth on the sandpaper and mousepad.
