Dudes,
I just traded for a BK2, and I want to play around with it a little. Has anyone done any mods to one that they would be willing to share? Or any ideas?

Modification threads of note: (will have it's own clicky and a long list by knife)

o Becker Modifications and Inspirations: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/sh...rations-Thread
Discussion Thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/sh...cussion-Thread

o The Big Book of Handle Mods: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=828994

o SOON - pointer, by model, of various mods and hacks, possibly reinforcement of pictures threads, with backup of picture archives

"submissions" of "must remember threads" would be useful in the discussion for FAQ... landshark, various handle wrap methods, tricks, tips, all that...

Hmm my copy and past skills are lacking but it's in the sticky at the top. The world is your oyster when it comes to mods.

Are you thinking of doing things yourself or buying different pre-made items?

Either one really; I just want to see what I can do to improve it. If it involves me buying pre-made items, then so be it.
(Thanks for the links by the way.)

Warriors Clipped bk2 is my favorite 2 mod. Thing is bad ass. I am sure others will be along to share what they have done. Congrats on getting the 2. It was my first Becker as well, but it wasn't my last haha

If you knew who it was, you'd understand completely why they didn't want it out.

I myself would remove all of the black coating. Then I would polish it to a good shine. Not enuff to round off the edges but enuff to make it shine. Bees wax and a polishing wheel should do fine.

Then get some aftermarket grips. Maybe some black ebony or white ivory. Then use brass pins and pin the handles on after glueing them on.

Next have somebody make you a nice leather sheath.

Now go camping and use it to chop the crap out of stuff. Make sure it stays sharp and clean and you should have a good time.
