I'm really looking forward to the BK24. This would be the perfect neck knife for me.
I was wondering:
1- Will it be a limited production ?
2- what is the ETA on this ?
3- Who else wants one :)

Standard addition to the line up.
March

Already have 2, so........

Did a review of them a while back, searching for previous threads on my phone is a total pita.

I've had my BK2 over a year now and LOVE IT. The new 24 I will hold out and wait for. Almost ordered a 14 just the other nite but convinced myself to hold off a few more weeks and wait for the 24. With a 2 and a 24 I'll be good to go as far as my fixed-blade knife chores/needs go. I like the idea of the D2 steel and am not that fond of the new finish on the latest Beckers. The laser etching yes I like, but not the rough new finish and I think it's a PIA to have to strip a blade which I'd end up having to do with the new finish. So a 24 it will be :)

So this may be a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway: How do you all think the D2 would hold up for batoning wood? And how would it work for this task as compared to the 1095 in the BK-14? I assume if Ethan approved it, it'll be tough as nails, but I don't know much about steel qualities in general, or D2 in particular.
I really like my 14, but a stainless knife would be great if it's equally tough.
Thanks for the help!
