Nice blade! I edc a bk14 and love it. But I've been really thinking about the 24 a lot lately. Are they harder to sharpen vs the 1095?

Little bit. Like 1095 cause easier to sharpen quicker. Experiance with other blades not with other Becker's. But got my beloved BK2 yesterday and can't wait to sharpen it although still has a great edge still from previous owner. I'm becoming a Beckerhead. That's it. Bk2 sealed the deal. Need at least 3 other models. The Bk2 pushed it over the top for me. God it is gooood. So well balanced, comfortable, and a thick a$$ b**ch like i like em.

I'm selling my Ontario's soon and getting 9 or 5 or both.

When I'm outdoors with my knives I get so busy, or at least distracted, I never bother with pictures.

Nice chef knives. Those scales you got on your 24 are killer. Where did you get them? Also what did you cook up?

Thanks! I made the mycarta from 2 shades of burlap and Bondo resin; bonded 'em with epoxy to white G10 and maroon micarta; then shaped the scales with my Dremel and WorkSharp.

I'm pretty sure it was chili night.
