Today I was able to slip out to the woods. Had a small job that needed doing and thought the BK2 would be capable.

Okay. Not really. But I DID need to do some lane trimming.

Crappy phone pix, I know. But the important part is I got to get it dirty. I've never chopped with a knife before, and was surprised at how the BK2 behaved. Definitely a technique to it. The weight helps, for sure. I was impressed with the performance.

just some pine. I moved from a ladder to ground blind and needed to get rid of some low hanging stuff in that spot. I've got a nanny that keeps busting me on the tree, so thought I'd sneak attack from a blind I set up a while back. She'll never see me coming! She needs killin'...

congrats the bk2 will do things that one would think needed a larger or even a smaller knife.

It really is surprising to see how well the 2 can chop for such a short knife. Glad to see yours getting a nice workout, Stalbot.

Lol, K9. We're covered up with pines down here. This spring, I plan to do a tree species inventory at that place to help me learn tree species. Also will help me with my bushcrafting.

And dude, this is Louisiana. We eat all kinds of crazy stuff. ;)
