Just got the BK3 last week but haven't been able to use it yet (wont be able due to work/studies until mid September). It is unique in that it has a chisel-grind but it feels great in the hand! I love the 1/4" thick beckers because they fit just right. The 3/16" thick beckers aren't as secure in my hand.

Can't wait to chop stuff up with it! I wonder how it works as a chopper/woods blade.

Also planning on modding it by stripping and maybe adding a more classic touch by slapping on wood scales.

I don't see much love for the BK3 here so show 'em!!!!

Oh, gawd no. I'm of Lithuanian descent. Both sets of grandparents emigrated through Ellis Island. Lithuanian was all that was spoken in the house, and I learned to speak English by watching TV. I can assure you with no uncertainty that the dude in that video is no more Lithuanian than Obama is. The accent is ALL wrong.
 
I really do love the BK3 design for how unique it is. Unfortunately I don't have one of my own yet.

Thanks for clearing that up k9, no disrespect. Just ran across the video the other day, and thought it was creaking hilarious. Gotta love YouTube.

I really like your mods on that 3 paden. I bet that thing can split some wood where the serrations used to be. Despite wanting to I just can't get too interested in the 3. Maybe that's not the point. It's just got to be beat on and pried with. Tool.

Thanks man. I'm not done with it yet im still working with that blade
