So I've collected what may be a rare blade: it's a becker bk3 with no serration. When I first saw the bk3 I thought it would be awesome without the serration, so when I saw this one I had to grab it.

My theory: It was actioned off unfinished when camillus closed. However, I was not in the knife game when that happened so I really don't know what that was like. That would also explain why there is no black coating. It doesn't look like the coating has been stripped off, it just looks like it never got it put on.

Anyone else ever see one like this? Any info would be appreciated.

Never seen anything like that with a Camillus stamp. Very cool. Post more pics!

That is really cool!

Is it heat treated? I have seen some ground Camillus blanks for sale that were not heat treated.

I really enjoyed having a BK3. It was my first Becker.
It'd be cool to have one like that to use, but I'd imagine you'd want to keep it for it's value as a collectable.

I really have not used it at all since I got it. Im really not sure what to use this for. What do you guys use or bk3 for?
might just put it in a emergency car kit or something similar.

oh and it didn't come with a sheath so I don't have anything to keep it in. perhaps it will fit in my stock bk9 sheath I'm not using.
