Really? I thought as long as they were a paying dealer on the forum you could post links pertaining to said sales.

I thought the whole point of the deal spotting rule was to give paying dealers an advantage because their links could be posted.

I'm not active here, so I apologize, but I had the same understanding and look forward to clarification.
 
I also thought that as long as the person posting it didn't have a stake in the sale, or was going to gain anything from it, ei, advertising/self promoting.

late, tired, and can't keep track of the players. we're trained to smite links fast ;)

Well, at least we know the "smite" key is working properly on your keyboard! Good to know the mods eff up occasionally too.......here I was thinking you guys/gals were infallible :p

I'm glad you got this sorted out; I'm usually pretty good with the rules - that's why I was a little miffed as to why you deleted it. But if there's one thing I learned over the years, though; that's never to argue with someone over the internet; it accomplishes nothing - even if you know you're right. :p

We are only human, after all.

Looks like I'm gonna be posting more deals after all (providing they are a paying dealer, of course). :D

Thanks, Ulf. It isn't my first time here, however. I stopped by before to ask the Beckerhead sages for some advice regarding the rinky dinky BK's. Y'all are a friendly & knowledgeable bunch, I might just wind up sticking around.

It looks like you guys are stuck with me now! :p
