Well, just got my bk4 a couple days ago and couldn't stop thinking to do some modifications to it. So this was my little weekend project.

Awesome!

When you are etching - you just put etchant on the logo area and it will only etch the lettering? The coating prevents the metal outside of the lettering from getting etched?

Your knife came out very nice!

Thank u Sir, and you rigth ,the coating will help to protect, so, just focus on the lettering and will came out just nice.

Very nice job. Is there any way to etch the logo if the coating has already been removed? Will it still work?

Probably, but a little bit more complicate, you need to tape the logos and then trace'm with a small engraver, covering all around to prevent any leaking.
