The BK4 came on Wednesday and took it out chopping yesterday. It was all of what I expected, and more! I'm sorry I cant get pics, I'm at my dad's house. I got a little scared when I was batoning with it, and it was half way through the log, and the blade looked bent to me. I mean, I was beating the thing like crazy. I thought I had bent it, because I'm used to the .25'' thick BK2, I didn't know if the Machax would be a different story. I finished beating the blade through the log, and I was relieved to see it wasn't bent.

Thing thing is awesome, and it will get a lot of use!

Sorry I can't get pictures right now. Thank you so much, Trailbum!

I call pics or it didn't happen.

Oh sure... You got the pics of you in a dress up pretty quick...Didn't seem to have any trouble then :)

Just messing with you...Congrats on the Machax!

But come back with pics....

I wanted to add a little update, I figured I would just add to this thread.

I have been using the Machax for a lot of yard work, and I couldn't be happier! It does everything I need it to. I even took it camping, only used it for batoning firewood, but it worked like a charm!

I have been reading a lot of BK 4 vs. 9 on here. Some posts I read really influence me to want a 9. I figure I am more of a minimalist though. Going out into the woods I would wear the 4 on my belt and my 14 on my neck, and I would have everything I need.

Oh yes, a picture...

I wanted to do a group picture, but my 14 is at my dad's house in the process of being convexed.

Oh, and I am in the process of making a leather sheath for my 2, I will definitely show it off when I get it finished! (Only need to do the stitching)
