BK4 new scales!

I just finished up some new scales for my new BK4.

They're made of homemade blue and brown canvas, sanded to only 220 grit because I wanted grippy scales.

After sanding I oiled them, because I'd rather they be dark from the get-go and not patchy from sweat.

Here they are!

those look great you did a fine job on those scales I really like the colors too.

Wow those turned out awesome. Great job. How did you do the hex holes? They look perfect

The hex holes are made by drilling 3/8" holes and then plunging a red hot nut into it to burn the corners in.

If you do the hex holes before shaping the scales you won't see any burn marks or discoloration in the final product.
