Hey Fellas, cleaned up the grinds on my new BK5. Stripped the coating on the grind and got a nice satin on her. I wanted to leave the coating on the swedge and handle.

I may do my BK9 today. Then it will match my BK2 and 5.

That is real purdy. Kinda makes me want one.

Durn nice. Reminds me of the Blackjack version.

WOW !! that looks so sweet... I really like how that turned out, leaving the top black really sets it off..

How did you get the finish?

Pretty. Shiny. Sharpy.

Me likey.

Moosey.

I'm with Spooky! When I see the BK-5 I think of this quote: "Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats."
H. L. Mencken

...I'm thinking this would be the ideal knife for just such an activity! ;) :D

Thanks Fellas, there are a couple little spots to clean up, but I'm pleased with the look. Now the blade can develope a battle worthy patina.. ha ha ha.
