oh hey, more contests!
in honor the the BK5 Magnum Camp winning the award recently, and to spread the word on how great this knife is...
o there will be a BK5 review contest for the Round 2 Passaround people - winning reviewer gets a NIB BK5 !!! closed to the 11 people on that list. opting in has its benefits
much like the Warthog prize i awarded a little while ago.
o i am going to reprise the watermelon helmet contest - but with a fruity twist... fruit-plate body armor contest special. not just a helmet this time, but full-on fruit based body armor. melons, fruits, Becker knives, carving... optional: tin-foil lined helmet and accoutrements, but mostly: fruits and veggies. other twists to the contest: quality. you must really go all out on this. you MUST excel to win not just enter... there will be no default winner. heck, there might not BE a winner. slapping a couple coconuts on isn't going to cut it. we want warriors. dressed in fruit. open to EVERYONE on BF (over 18, yaddah yaddah)...
o i have a few other contests i'm thinking of to help promote the BK5.. at least one contest involving something more ... permanent being created (like a shield, or a real helmet, or spear, or ...). KaBar likes having your art work on their walls. stay tuned. these will generally be open as well.
start planning. this isn't the sign up thread (soon). do talk about it though. talk about it a lot
