So, I just had to use my BK5 in a self defense situation. My wife had opened the back door to let in some of the fresh morning cool air when the biggest moth I have ever seen flew in. I thought it was a small bat. Anyway, when it landed on my son's highchair I sprung into action with the BK5 (due to lack of flyswatter). I was swift and deadly and protected the house once again from evil insects!!

Here are the results. The monstrosity actually remained standing for a good 5 minutes and tried to get away when I picked up the headless body to throw it away.

Well done. I enjoy my BK 5 but had not thought to keep it readily at hand for self defense purposes. The only potential issue for you is if that moth is on the endangered specie list in which case.......but you know the rest.

Godspeed, brother.

On another note, I understand the moth thing. I've seen one that was larger than some bats around here. It's wingspan was larger than my hand. Wish I still had the picture.

I think this thread belongs in practical tactical :D let the mall ninjas know how well the bk5 would go in their BOB

Karma is a bitch.

Should have used a samurai sword.

haha, i saw the shotgun comment, and when I pressed reply with quote it said samurai sword. I have both and probably wouldnt have gone over well with the missus. She gave me this disgusted look as I was photographing my victory. Lol.

Going to add a sig saying:
