I had to try this knife out today so took it out for a bit to play in the snow … I just touched up the blade a bit last night it gets SHARP … it shaves feather sticks well (and my picture of that didn't show up GRRR) … but I got to pair it with the King and my newer folding saw an Agawa Canyon Boreal 21 and process a little wood … I have to edit more pictures but wanted to post a few with my first impressions of the BK62 …

I really like this knife … it is a simple knife but such a well designed knife ... it is one of those that brings back memories of time spent with my dad in the woods and the older men when I tagged along as a boy … it took a really nice edge and It held it well after making a feather stick and whittling a bit just to see how it handled …

I was worried a bit about the thin handles but thy are surprisingly comfortable … so until I can edit more pictures here are a few and I threw in a couple of our snow from yesterday on my way home from the tree stand earlier …

Was a balmy 22F ... just about perfect for batoning a little wood and enjoying the fresh snow. I may need to grab a vest soon but a sweatshirt was enough today.

Awesome shots JJ! That knife looks like its gonna be real comfortable in hand!

It is surprisingly comfortable I made a feather stick and then just whittled and shaved wood for awhile to see how it felt ... no hand fatigue at all ... and I really like the blade ... great for slicing stuff.

I am envious of your snow too!

LOL ... it was a bit of a surprise ... was supposed to go north of us but it snowed from before 7AM yesterday until after 1AM today ....

you can see by the road we ended up with 8 to 10 inches in that area ... think I had 5 or 6 at the house.

Had a spare snowmobile if you weren't in a far far away land of hot weather lol ... I'd melt down there ... I was at home in the snow.

I like riding them as long as I'm familiar with the terrain ... snow can hide some stuff you really don't want to find that way ...

the water thing ... I swim well but I've never braved water on one yet ... lol
