My first Becker, BK7, arrived today. I didn't get the chance to do much other than get it out and look at it some, but I couldn't be happier. Looking forward to getting some quality time with it, probably stripping the blade, and plotting my next one!

Gotta get the requirements to be a Beckerhead too

Congrats on the new blade man. Hope you use the hell out of it.

I started with the 7 too. Great first choice. The 13 piggy backs well with it.
Hope you enjoy it like I have.

Congrats! Use it well and don't forget to post pics too!

Now the question is what will be your next one?:D

The 7 is an awesome blade, congrats man. Now the madness begins, have you considered any others?

Oh I've considered all of them, lol. I had figured my next one would be a bk9, but the more I look at it the more the bk4 grows on me. Somewhere down the road like to add a bk2, bk10, or bk16 too.

I bought a 7 for my first Becker as well. Cool knife.

As the Moose said, we need pics. Also, where are you located? You might be able to check some of the differences out between the 9 and the 4 personally depending on where you are.

Without photographic evidence, I can only congratulate you on what I think is a great knife. ;)

But congrats nonetheless!

Well I guess I will beat you too it. HEHEEHEHEHEHHEHE EHEHEHE HEHEHE EHHEHEHEH HHEEHEHHEEEE:D

Consider that inspiration for your stripping and patina venture.

Greebe, what did you use for patina? I really like the look of that. I'm thinking I might try stripping with a bench grinder & brass wheel brush. I read on here someone had used that method & I would like to leave the coating under the scales. I will get some pics for everyone after bit, been watching the little one all day.

Man that looks great. I have a 2, 4, 5(2 soon to be 3), 9, 10, 11, 14, 15(3 soon to be 4), 16, and 17 I just haven't seen anything to make me spring for the 7. For a 'One knife to rule them all' option though I think it'd be great. Not 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' like a 9 mind you, but great nonetheless.

Ahhhhhhhhh.........

Feels like a warm spa in here now....

:D

How do I post pics from my phone?

Upload them to a third party site like flikr or photobucket, hit the share button and click the img link, it will automatically copy it to your clipboard. Then just paste into the reply box.

I use photobucket, they have a very user friendly app.
