BK7/BK13 combo?

I'm about to buy a BK7 and I've seen some that come with a BK13 on the sheath. Do all of them come this way or is the BK7 available with or without it? If the BK7 comes without a BK13 does the sheath still have the spot to add a BK13?

Also, where is the recommended source (right now I'm looking at Amazon)?
Last, anyone know if and/or when Kabar will release the BK10 again?

Thanks, I'm basically new to Beckers though I have had a Camillus Necker for several years.

The BK7 and BK9 had *for a limited time* Ramoras - the Chinese ones. You still may find a few out there that come with a free Ramora but I wouldn't count on it.

REM OR A :) like the skate that predates upon the shark... the accessory animal ;)

not all current vendors will have the freebies...

afaik, *all* BK7, BK9, *and* BK5 sheaths come with the sheath/slot for the BK13 remora built in, even if empty.

the new styled USA made BK13s are pretty sweet, but i don't see much wrong with the chinese freebies. if you don't like those send them to me. i'm sure i will find uses for them ;)
 
New guy here.

I got bite by the bug a few weeks ago and ordered a BK9 from Knifeworks. I went with them because they had the BK9 /BK13 combo listed for sell. I telephoned first to make sure it was in stock and the BK13 was included. A few days later, the package arrived and I'm now doing the happy dance. :D

Their site still lists the BK7/BK13 combo for sale. I must have gotten one of the last BK9/BK13 combos because that option is now gone. Good luck in your search.

Lol I was tired and confused when I wrote that. No wonder spell check was of no help. :p
 
Oh this thread again, lol. Yeah basically some do some don't and the sheath always has a slot for it. The Bk10 is far from being reproduced. .. I think. Check out the ritter becker collaboration for the next best thing. Avoid amazon, every week there's a new thread about damaged beckers from amazon.
