BK7 & BK9 - whose idea was it anyway?

I am curious about this new BK series.

The BK7 looks awfully nice. The nice is affordable. BK9 looks even better.

Who's the creative genius behind these two blades?

Once in a long while, somebody comes along with a great idea and turned it into reality. I suppose this counts as one of those times.

I just want to get some info on the man or men behind the blade and how they came up with the winning design.
