Howdy,

I just built this BK7 sheath for a customer, the image is not real great, but I thought I would share it with you guys and see what you think.

Please let me know what you think.

Thank you,

Looks good,
how easy is the BK7 to remove from sheath ?

This sheath is on the softer side for my work. I would not suggest carrying the knife upside down with this sheath. It would hold the knife while upside down generally, but if you were to jump down off a rock or something, it could come out.

The next one will be a bit stiffer, which I how I like them. And it is not hard to make a sheath stiffer.

Retention is a hard thing to rate, I will be buying a scale soon, so that I can rate my sheaths for retention, like a bow.

Thank you,
Marion

is it possible to make sheath like the bk7 for a bk2 with the nylon outside but the kydex thing that covers the blade just curious

It is possible, but outside my capabilities right now.

A guy who does custom nylon could do it, but I bet you could pay as much for it, as you do for the knife.

Best,
Marion

What do you think about making a kydex sheath for the BK-7 that works with the ESEE molle backs? I like my knife to ride low, below the waist belt of a pack.

That is an interesting idea. I would think it could be done.

I will have to one of those backs, and see if it would work.

Best,
Marion
