I just got my BK7 in the new Desert Motif. This thing is H-U-G-E and very stout! Now I know why people rave about these knives. I was very impressed with the sheath and heftiness of blade. The handle is very grippy and not slippery like what I thought looking at pictures of it. I like that the handles can be removed if need be. OBTW, nice touch on lubricating the blade before packaging. Nice to know I won't get a rusted knife when I purchase it. My girlfriend said it was ugly and looked like a club some caveman carved out of a rock. I love it! For the price, I don't think this line can be beat. With the new colors, it makes them even more popular now. As for prying and any other moderate abuse, I think the knife can live up to it despite the warnings given in the packaging. No doubt about it. I might just get a BK 10 to back it up as these knives are so economical and such a bargain. Go out and get one. Ugly or not you won't be disappointed!
