So I know my brother plans on getting me a bk7 for christmas..(sucker) And I found a kydex sheath that is 70 bucks, with a piggyback for a 14, and a firesteel holder with a firesteel. I already have a 14, so it will work out perfectly. The only reason I would pay 70, is because i am not paying for the knife:D You guys think it is worth it? Also, if anyone can make me some desert tan handles for a good price let me know:D

Be better if it was 50 but it doesn't sound too far out of line and has about the perfect features. The sheath is pretty important IMO, I have many blades that would see more use if they were in a quality sheath...

Yeah, that's what I think. If the sheath that comes with the 7 is good quality, it will be a bit different story, but this one is amazing, so I dunno:D

They are decent sheaths from the factory, plenty of retention etc, just depends on what you like though. Kydex wont get full of stickers and burs in the woods. I loath clothing etc that picks up burs. I waste a lot of time picking that crap off of my stuff.

I'd suggest reaching out to GODSPEED (godspeedtactical.com)

He does some excellent sheaths and can do whatever you want. Lots of pics/options to choose from too... in case you want to do something like add an ESEE pouch or something like that...

Who makes the sheath?

There are a bunch of good benders on here that can make you exactly what you want too.

That said I just got a 7 and it came with the new sheath, which is by far better than the old sheath.

Hmm, I have seen godspeeds sheaths, and they are awesome. But what eould the price be like?

The sheath you are looking at I think is a kydex sheath made by Grizzly Outdoors. They make excellent quality kydex sheaths. Plus, their turnaround time for making a custom sheath is very fast, maybe around a few days at the most. The 70 dollars you pay will be worth it since it is quality made, most of my beckers have Grizzly pants :D

Awesome! Thanks! I checked out godspeeds, but they are a bit higher priced, and I am not willing to pay more than the knife costs for the sheath. Just bad juju to me. They have it listed for the bk7 with digi urban camo, is that it? And if it is, will the do it in Coyote?:D :D

*scratches head* I just did the math, Eli is at $66 for the options you wanted...

If you take his pouch sheath for the 14 sized knives and his pancake sheath for the 7 sized knives it comes out to $72, and then add the fire steel holder and it becomes $79 + shipping. But if that was what I was looking for, GodSpeed is my first stop, along with all the other benders here.

37.00 6"+ Blades (BK-2/7, etc.)
22.00 small blades up to 3" (Izula, BK-11, etc.)
7.00 Firesteel Holder (includes shock-cord and end pull)

37.00 6"+ Blades (BK-2/7, etc.)
22.00 small blades up to 3" (Izula, BK-11, etc.)
7.00 Firesteel Holder (includes shock-cord and end pull)

Pretty sure I read "47.00 6"+ Blades (ESEE-5/6, BK-2/7, etc.)" for the Pancake style, which is what I said in my post. That's also how I came to my mathematical conclusion matching wrknives price estimate.

The Taco style sheath states: "37.00 6"+ Blades (BK-2/7, etc.)".

And I was assuming an ESEE pouch compatible sheath (just as a top price version of the regular, which I assume is another Pancake V Taco style issue)
