Bk7 or Bk12

I have a Bk 9,5 & 2, lookin to fill the gap between for utility/Camp knife.
Thinkin pretty strong on the BK12--since it seems more in middle & lighter/easy handling.
This knife also reminds me of a Busse Ash, but a lot cheaper..:thumbup:
Your thoughts?
 
Personally, I like the 12 more than the 7 or the 2. To me it just feels like the best of both of those blades combined.
 
BK-12 for sure man. The 12 is my favorite large Becker knife.

I have never held the 12, but I like the looks of it over all the other beckers. My question is where do you buy them. I have not seen them for sale anywhere other than the exchange periodically.
 
I'd get the 7 because of the price even though I like the size and shape of the 12 better. Or another option, bk 10
 
The 12 definitely stands out--Rowen, counter weights....
So I'm thinkin that 12/9 combo would work.
Appreciate pics & input fella's.
 
Have had the 2,7,10, and 12 in the past. Didn't care for the 2, just didn't feel right. 7 was a little too long for my tastes, was a good modding platform to try out a few things though. The ten was my grail larger becker, I have modded to what I call the Beckhardt, de-ramped and de-wayne'd, bobbed the pommel, and ground/filed the swedge to a more rounded profile resembling a spear point. 12 was my go to for quite a while. As spikebot587 mentioned, the 12 is the best of both worlds. Very versatile, all around user with great ergo's and a solid blade profile. Just my .02. Good luck with your search, hope you find something that works for you.

I have never had either, and even though the 7 is cheaper, I personally like the blade shape of the 12 better.
 
I like the 7... Hell i have 2 of them but i sure see a 12 in my near future.may have to get rid of this serrated camilius 2 for it though........naaaaahhhhhhhhh....!

They are a KnifeWorks exclusive, so that is the only place you will find them new. They are a site sponsor, so it's also good to show them some support.

And I do agree with Warrior and like the blade shape of the 12 better than the 7.
 
The 12 is probably better suited for bumming around the woods but for the price you could get a 7 and a 10.
