Im looking to get yet another becker but cant decide should i go with the 9 or 7 Please help me lol

Foe serious Chopping or Battoning of larger pieces of wood, the BK 9 will be superior.
If you want a lighter more agile Belt knife the BK7 will do the job. With the pommel hold/lanyard technique, it's a pretty fair chopper ,too.

The BK7 for an all around, multi-use knife. The BK9 if you do more chopping and wood processing.

I agree with the two above comments. The BK7 is my personal favorite. If you only do heavy chopping on semi rare occasions it will be more than enough.

BK10 or BK9. Skip the 7, IMO.
If you want to chop, carry a smaller knife and a 'hawk or hatchet. Else a small knife and The King (9).

What do you have already and how do you want to use it?

Agreed. 7 just seems in between a big knife like a 2 or 10 and really big knife like the 9 or 4. Dont see the point in carrying it if I could have a dedicated chopper like the 9 or 4 and one of the shorts for finer work.

If I could only carry one knife between the 9 and 7, I would still choose 9 because it will be able to chop and baton through bigger stuff and not be any more unwieldy for smaller work then the 7 already is.

Both 9 first, then the 7 at a later point in time (Next month).

That is the standard Beckerhead answer correct?

Yes, it is. I think most Becker owners start with a BK2, so a BK9 would make more sense as it's more of a chopper. A BK7 is quite similar in the hand to a KaBar fighting knife, though I like the grip and maneuverability of the Becker a lot more.

Seems to me the only correct answer is: Both!

Personally I'd go with the 9 first, as I've got a 12 already and need a little bit better chopper. I guess it depends on what you've got already and what hole/usage you're looking to fill.

I own both.
The 9 is just a plain 'ol bad bmf!
But the 7 is a good sized blade that is surprisingly quick in the hand.
If I had to pick one I'd go with the...
9, no 7, no 9, ahhhhh!!!
Who am I kidding. I couldn't pick just one!
Get both! lol

I have a 10, so that is my favorite. However, a 9 paired with an 11 would cover all the bases (I think!)

slik

What about a 7 paired with a 14? Or a 5 paired with a 15? or a 2 paired with a 17? Or a 3 paired with a 15, 16, and 17... Just for the hell of it :D
