Maybe I'm way behind on this, but....

Watching "Alone" on the History Channel for the first time tonight. Looked like Britt was using a BK7, chopping up a trout for chum.

So far this is looking to be a good season. Can't wait for the weather to turn.😳
 
Everything was ok, but this guy batoning with a stone when killing the trout, was that necessary?

Thanks for posting that video. Always interesting to see what people select for these kinds of applications.
 
I tend to root for the people that carry a Becker. It's gotta say a lot for Ethan's knives, that there has been one on every season so far.

BRitt tapped out. He used the knife excellently and built up a good camp with it. He showed good skills.
He just missed his family too much and after 35 days, "tapped back in" as he called it. I admire these contestants greatly.

Kinda disappointing, that guy was my fav to make it.
 
Blows, but I can see it after that much time and little food. The tap outs that get me are the 6 hour tap out last season...tap out on day 2 because of loneliness this season, and injuries due to being careless. Britt had a good run!
