I want a BK 8 :D I know it will probably never happen. I learned today it was called a helicopter egress tool. Maybe it could be a pickup truck egress tool also! Anyone here ever seen one? (Mr Becker I am sure has - anyone else?)

Bladite owns one. So does Guyon, although his is different.

Here's Guyons:

That is definitely one heck of an aspiration. Now, given your no doubt high level contacts as well as personal experiences, you may be able to pry the one out of Bladite's cold dead hands, but I highly doubt he will part with it in any other way. Good luck sir. ;)

more likely, my hands will not be dead, cold, but bathed in blood, and the recipient of the knife will be pulling it from their heart, if they can, those "saw spines" are tricky :D

can't have the collection of the old ones without a BK8

there's a few out there. somewhere.

maybe make one from paneling, paint it black, and just tell people you have one :>

that's the one.

the BK8 has more Becker in it at least.

In May 2005, Gerber Legendary Blades introduced its own ASEK compliant knife (available commercially under the name LMF II) to the military for evaluation. The Gerber ASEK met all requirements, and outperformed the Ontario model in the area of electrical insulation. The Gerber ASEK has been approved for purchase, and Gerber released an additional version with a foliage green handle to match the Army Combat Uniform. The knife also comes with a parachute cutter that has a separate sheath which can be attached to a MOLLE vest.
