Being bord is boring so I took the old BK9 out the front and chopped up some silly stuff.
It actually held up really well and had very little edge damage. It wasn't going to be
shaving hair or slicing paper but it took all of 5-10 minutes to get it back to that.
After a couple of 2x4s I went for a brick or two. First I cut a brick into two pieces.
Then I cut a brick into lots of pieces. The edge was still untouched after the 2x4s and the brick only caused some minor dings and rolls.
After a couple of bricks it was still able to slice a dog food can in half.
It had no problems going through the base of the can either.
The BK9 is a geat chopper and a knife I like alot. I am rather unkind to my BK9 as it's not exactly and expensive knife but it still keeps on ticking no matter what.
You may also have noticed that I reprofiled mine to give it that big, bad ass bowie look, it suits the knife well IMO
