Hey everyone I wanna strip the coating on my BK9. But I dont want it to rust. Have any of you guys had your 1095 knives rust? And what would you do to fix/prevent it? thanks.

Just keeping the blade dry and occasionally oiling is usually enough to prevent rust.
Many a force a patina with mustard, vinegar, etc.
or use blueing compound
These will help to prevent rust. For a user knife, rust is not a big deal and will not affect performance. Light rust, when oiled, becomes patina and just adds to the character of the knife.
