Unfinished... need to recess the bolt & nut, switch out the current stainless for the stockers, drill the lanyard hole, shape the scales and I dont know if I'll do them like the stock shaped or give them some type of contouring yet ...

Oh I would say definitely contour them. Looking like a really good set of scales!!

Love the orange accent on the 'BK-9' stamp. Looks really cool. And I say go for contour!! Good work dude.

Definetly contour them, much, much better. Btw, where did you get your removable handle screws from? Are they just the stock ones stripped? and what material is that? I'm gonna call it spirit camo :).

Thanks everyone! It's some type of textile with the weight being more on a light canvas side or a heavy linen... I'll have to do a burn test on a piece of scrap fabric to see if I can figure out exactly what it is... very cool stuff!

Top & bottom shots, I can see some goofs in the grinds so those too need to be squared up...

so it's micarta? made with a camo-print fabric? Thats dang good clarity, what kind of resin do u use??

No, it's not micarta, this is a custom lamination... yup, color-print and these handle scales are the non-print side of that fabric to get a more subdued look... West Systems on the resin
