Does anyone know of knives that will fit in the pocket sheath on the front and f the bk9? With the eskabar fit? I've read an esee candiru will, what about an izula? That's guys! I'm exited to have my first Becker!

When I read the title I thought he was looking for a pocket sheath for the bk9 lol pocket carry a bk9...:D

But is the bk13 the best option? If guys can get the 11 to fit, the eskabar should too right? Since it's an 11 blade with the izula handle?

The reason that the 11 fits is due to the hook part of bottle opener is used as a retention device for the strap to hold it in the pocket. The 14/24 handles are a smidgen longer so that I itself would make for a tight fit but aside from that, the round shape of the butt of the handle isn't too conducive to a secure strap/handle interface.

You may get it to work, but it might take significantly more work than the 11. I put a small hole in my strap for the 11 to actually have a spot to bite into .

Though to get it to fit I heated up a lot of water, once it was near boiling I took it off the heat element and let it sit fire a minute or two to let the pot itself cool a bit. Then I threaded a wooden handled spoon through the bk11 and held it in the water to heat it up. I let mine sit in the water for like 30 secs possibly a minute at most. The heated blade was necessary to push open the plastic of the sheath.

Just be sure to Not let the blade sit on the bottom of the pot, the heated metal of the pot may have the potential to damage the heat treat. At least, that is what I had heard, I chose to take caution when I did this to my 4s sheath just because I didn't want to have any concerns down the line.

All of that being said, if anyone figures out a pocket sheath for a 9, I will buy one! My hopes were raised for a minute there.

I can help you with that. First you're going to need a pair of pants and some scissors...

I will do one or the other, wear pants and hold scissors, or not wear but hold pants and not have scissors anywhere near me... :D

I could use a picture, here. Are we talking about shoving a sharpened BK11 or 14 into a nylon pouch without anything to protect the fabric from the edge?
