I'm looking to upgrade the factory sheath for my BK9.

I like Spec Ops but I don't see where they offer a 9" sheath.

Not looking for Kydex as I plan to add a pouch to the front and lash it to my Ruck.

Thanx in advance,
Pete

This is one of my new ones, Already comes with a pouch :D

The sheath that came with it has a good sized pocket, enough for an altoids tin and a small multi tool & flint, you can add a pouch to a kydex sheath as well, will work very well but the problem i found with my kydex sheaths is tree sap, even more so when its cold, far worse than ice.
Edit:you didnt specify if yours came with a sheath or not, heres a link to what one fella did with his

I know you said that you are not looking for kydex, but you can mount a pouch to this and use the molle back for lashing it to a pack. I love this setup for my 9.

It is made by azwelke on this forum.

I've got the same sheath above in coyote brown for my BK9. azwelke does a great job and it comes with plenty of eyelets for lashing pouches and lashing it to your pack. His sheaths also have higher than average retention strength so you don't need to worry about it coming loose or anything.

I think a good kydex would be the way to go. It's the perfect sheath for abusing, attaching stuff to, and attaching to stuff...
