I made these out of .093 kydex and use a tek lok with metal ring and leather dangler for both sheaths. Works great!!!

I contemplated making a tie down for my rig, even went so far as to ask here for ideas, but I put the project on the back burner because I could not decide what I wanted to do or in what material. Now the knife rides my pack like this:

Behind the kidney pad of my Camelbak pack. I really like it.


So, yeah, I know, I have a dangler that cost a lot of money that I do not use. Those are the breaks I guess.

I don't have a 9, but was going to post the Psyop/Kelly's Custom's Dangler from my 7.
Don't need to, it looks just like Johnny's - only 2 inches shorter, and no firesteel loop.
He does great work.
