BK9 vs KaBar Heavy Bowie

Cool review. The one time I handled ones (Cmdr's BK-9), I though the F&F was superb and loved its livliness.

One thing I'm just learning to dislike (more from my RD-9 experiences) is codura sheaths. I just don't like 'em. They are noisy with the inserts and clicky clack when you are walking. Once I raise some cash, I'm getting my codura sheaths replaced with kydex.

I agree with that. I like cordura, though, as long as the plastic insert fits the blade fairly snugly. The BK9 fits snugly into this sheath.
 
one thing I can tell you about my bk 7 sheath is that the insert had a habit of coming out with the blade.
 
I pulled my insert (0.90 kydex?) out if my Cam BK-9 and hit it with the hair drier and make shift press to tightener her up, then applied loctite ultra glue to seal the deal. Sorry I had too :D
 
Great review sppoky, looks like a nice knife. the Becker line isn't really up my alley, but the handles are soooo comfortable that I might need to get one just to examine the contours.
