Are you sure about that?I'm very pleased with my G-10 scales I ordered from "KnifeCenter"
Don't mean to respond for the OP, but i have a couple of these. I really like them. I like the sleeker slimmer look of these most of all. I have them on a BK2 and BK10. You can feel the slimness of the scales on the bk10 more so than on BK2. Since the metal is thicker on the BK2 it fills in the hand a little more. I like the texture more even though the originals never slipped on me but over all I like the feel better but the question comes down to if the feel is worth $60. To me you can do without them but at the same time they are an enhancement and for the combination of the looks, which carries most of the weight for me, and feel i would say that they are worth it. When I can afford it.Looks great! How do they compare to the stock handle scales?

I Love the look and feel (form and texture) of the TKC scales..... But they are unusable for me unless with liners.
The TKC scales on a .250" thick blade are Thinner than a set of micarta on .187" steel
Orange on Bk3
Brown on Bk4
Stock grivory is very slightly thinner (barely noticeable) than the micarta
Wow. Thanks for that picture. Those are some thin scales. Makes it look like a tweener next to the full size. The shape of the bk4 lifting the front closer to the camera lends a hand in that as well though.
