got the new bk9 on friday. gravy that it happened to be my off day from work too. i didn't even go inside the house with the mail. just left the mail on the threshold, opened the box, took out the blade, and started wailing away on weed, log, and branch. it was fun! was really pleased on how forward weighted it was. made chopping a breeze. i really appreciated the whole "sharpened pry bar" stigma that some throw out as a critique. great knife!
