BKS old Cresent Axe w/ spike

This is a picture of Baltimore Knife and Swords basic Cresent Axe. It is the one style that has lasted the ages for us. This is just an example of what we do. The Axe is just sitting on the haft in this picture because I was about to put it in a box to ship it. No wurries though, Our axes fit snugg on the shoulders. Just thought I would share an example of our axe work.

Matt, Cool axe. How thick is the pole at the head connection? I would be afraid that the pole might break at the shoulder if you did any chopping with the axe !?!? Is this designed as a "user" or is it meant for display only?
